How an Islamic Scholar and Magician Met Jesus and Survived Persecution
During a Talim session, the Islamic teacher taught that the prophet who would save people in the last days was sinless, and concluded it was Prophet Muhammad. Brother Moses immediately doubted this. He had read in Islamic books that Muhammad sinned against “Allah”. He strongly refuted the claim by citing Quranic verses showing Muhammad’s sins, which led to “Allah” afflicting him and causing his death. He also mentioned that on his deathbed, Muhammad told his daughter Fatimah that even he did not know where he was going, and advised people to live according to their conscience.
When the teacher claimed Muhammad had reconciled with Allah, Moses disagreed, saying nothing like that was recorded — only his sins and death were mentioned. Moses then boldly declared before about 200 Muslims that Prophet Isa (Jesus) is the sinless one, even from birth, and that believing in Him is essential for a complete Muslim. He quoted many verses from the Islamic book to support this. The teacher became offended, accusing Moses of elevating Jesus above Muhammad. The debate grew heated, and Moses was forcibly removed from the mosque for challenging Islam with their own book.
That night, Tuesday 2022, an angel appeared to him in a dream wearing white apparel. The angel confirmed the argument and said, “It is true! No prophet can save his people, except Jesus! You will not be saved except you accept Him (Jesus) as your Lord and personal Saviour.”
Moses was troubled. He thought about the persecution he would face and declared that over his dead body would he convert to Christianity. He remembered the covenants from his life as a magician and Muslim. The angel then disappeared.
The next night, Wednesday, the angel appeared again. This time it felt real — his wife was sleeping beside him. The angel dug a big hole and told Moses to look inside. As he did, the heat from the fire burnt his face severely. The angel said, “This is where you will spend eternity if you don’t accept Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour.”
When Moses asked about his burnt face, the angel directed him to a particular man who would heal him. After the angel left, Moses met the man (whom he had never seen before). The man laid hands on his face, and it was miraculously restored. Later, Moses discovered the man was the G.O. of The Lord’s Chosen.
The next day, people on the road told Moses his face looked different and was shining like car lights.
He narrated the experience to his wife. She thought it was one of the spirits he used to serve, but Moses said it was different.
After the encounter, Moses saw the G.O. of The Lord’s Chosen on Facebook preaching salvation. He reached out and was connected to a branch in Adamawa State. He planned to move to Lagos, but his wife turned against him and began persecuting him. Later, God arrested his wife’s heart, and both came to Lagos.
Before leaving, Moses told his father about his decision. His father planned to kill him. He inserted a broom into Moses’ urinary tract, which broke in his bladder, causing incontinence. His father then took him to a Sharia Court in Sokoto. Moses affirmed he had renounced Islam. The court gave him two weeks to reconsider, then sentenced him to death by hanging.
Back home, he was tied up as a prisoner. A lady secretly warned him that the food she brought was poisoned by his father. He tested it on a small dog, which died after fifteen minutes.
When taken to Kagoro forest (linked to Sambisa forest) for execution, the two men with him faced sudden death: one fell from a tree and a stick pierced through his stomach; the other was turned upside down and struck his head on the ground. A force pushed Moses off the stool to safety.
As he tried to escape through the thick forest, a snake bit him on the leg. The poison made him unconscious. A tiger appeared but did not harm him. Then the same G.O. of The Lord’s Chosen appeared and said, “Don’t worry, you must pass through this. I will send a Fulani man to you.”
Immediately, a Fulani man appeared, carried Moses on his cow to his remote base, and used a leaf to make him vomit out the poison. Moses stayed there for two weeks and was given ₦52,000 before going to Adamawa.
When he returned home, his father almost fainted, thinking he had been killed. The two executioners were already dead. Moses wanted to curse his father, but the man appeared again and told him to say instead, “You are blessed.” Moses obeyed.
His father continued the attacks by spraying dangerous chemicals on Moses’ rice farm (which normally produced 75 bags) and seizing his properties. Yet Moses felt no bitterness — he was like a newborn baby in Christ.
Later, when Moses went to his branch of The Lord’s Chosen and planned to move, local youths gathered to attack him. He left some property behind and escaped to Taraba with his wife.
In his past life in Islam and wizardry, Moses had converted many Christians to Islam. The same man later appeared and gave him a mandate to win 10,000 souls for the Lord. He gave Moses an Arabic Bible and promised to be with him.
After this, a demon from his wizardry days struck him on the head. He had a severe headache and “died” for about 3 hours. The Chosen pastors prayed for him, and he came back to life. In that state, he saw himself in hell fire and wondered why. By God’s mercy, the Spirit of the Lord took him out. An angel explained it was because he had refused to forgive those who persecuted him.
The God of Chosen is indeed the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—the same yesterday, today, and forever — and He is Jesus Christ.
