Acer Rolls Out New Trio Android Smartphones At IFA 2016

Acer has rolled out new set of smartphones at IFA which include in scope; various prices and markets. Theirs the Iconia Talk S, the Liquid Z6, and the Liquid Z6 Plus, which continues part of Acer's more popular smartphone lineups. 

The Iconia Talk S is a budget-friendly tablet/phone hybrid option with decent specs to back it up. You’ll find a 720p display, a quad-core processor, and dual-SIM card slots, which aren’t bad specs for the €169 price point Acer is launching the device at.

As far as raw power goes, the Iconia Talk S is the weakest device Acer announced, but the tablet functionality might be a big selling point for someone that needs a large device to handle everything without breaking the bank.

The new Liquid Z6 and Z6 Plus were also announced, both featuring Acer’s signature 2.5D glass display. The Z6 Plus picks up an all-metal body to accommodate its slightly larger 5.5-inch display. The smaller Z6 only has a 5-inch screen.

Both the Z6 and Z6 Plus have 1080p displays and are both running Android 6.0, but some of the other hardware differs. The smaller device only has a quad-core processor while the Plus sports an octa-core chip, and the Plus has a fingerprint scanner thats totally absent from the regular Z6. 

There’s also a discrepancy between the cameras, with the former using an 8-megapixel shooter and the bigger using a 13-megapixel camera.



However, with different specs come different price points. The Liquid Z6 is only €119 while the bigger Z6 Plus will run €249, which is a pretty big jump between the two.

Girl Scouts of America Goes Transgender

Conservatives are furious over the Girl Scouts new policy to begin accepting boys who choose to dress as girls. The Blaze Reported: Titled, “The Meaning of ‘Serving All Girls,’” and written by Dr. Andrea Bastiani Archibald, who is identified as a “chief girl expert,” the blog post opens by explaining the Girl Scouts’ history of embracing and supporting girls since its founding in 1912.
