Netanyahu: Conflict is Over Israel’s Existence, Not Land

The conflict between Israel and the Palestinian Authority is not over land, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Wednesday, speaking in a meeting with senior officials in the Foreign Ministry.

The conflict, he said, is over Israel's very existence. In proof, he pointed to the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza in 2005, which included the forced removal of thousands of Jewish residents of the area.

Israel got rocket attacks in exchange, he said.

The Palestinian Authority does not wish to recognize Israel as the national homeland of the Jewish people, he continued. However, he said, Israel remains willing to restart negotiations with no preconditions.

Netanyahu is the acting Foreign Minister until a verdict is reached in the case of Avigdor Lieberman, Netanyahu's choice for Foreign Minister, who faces corruption charges.

PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has stated that the PA will not recognize Israel as the Jewish state. Abbas argues that terming Israel the Jewish state would effectively mean giving up the Arab demand that millions of descendants of Arabs who fled pre-state Israel be given the "right of return" to modern Israel.

Israel signs Open Skies deal with EU

The Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz and Civil Aviation Authority Director Giora Rom on Monday signed an Open Skies agreement with the European Union. The agreement, signed at a festive ceremony in Luxembourg between the Israeli representatives and EU transportation ministers, will gradually, over the next five years, remove all barriers for flights between Israel and Europe, in the hopes of lowering air fares and significantly increasing tourism to Israel. When the Israeli Cabinet approved the deal in April, all three of Israel's airlines — El Al, Arkia and Israir — went on a protest strike. The strikers feared that the increased competition would put Israeli airline employees out of work and possibly even lead to the closure of airlines. The strike ended after two days when the Finance Ministry agreed to cover a large chunk of the security costs that would have otherwise rendered the Israeli carriers unable to compete with the prices offered by European airlines. ...

I was wondering, and some how, I don't know if I would deny this or say it is true. Please could this be true or false. You people got to say something here, what do you think about this video?  How could this be, what is going on here. Please never you go near a river or sea to be taking photographs like this, it is very dangerous. I believe this is real, this is no movie or drama.  Just be careful people things are getting more dangerous this days. You can share with your friends and families and warn them never to go near rivers or sea and take selfies like this one.
