What Comes Next After Suicide? The Truth No One Wants to Talk About

Suicide is often presented as an escape — a way to finally “rest in peace.” But the painful reality is this: it is not the end of suffering. It is only the beginning of eternal suffering.

Many people who take their own lives do so out of deep pain, desperation, or ignorance. They believe death will bring relief. But according to the Bible and the spiritual order of things, suicide is the murder of a life you did not create — a precious gift handed to you by God Himself.

You become both a thief and a murderer in that moment. And just like any other serious crime, there will be judgment.


There Is No “Rest in Peace” in Suicide

The idea that suicide leads to peaceful rest is a dangerous lie. Instead of peace, the spirit of a person who commits suicide faces eternal torment in hellfire — a suffering without end and without remedy.

No matter how heavy your struggles are right now — whether it’s depression, heartbreak, financial ruin, betrayal, or any other storm — suicide is never the solution. It only trades temporary pain for everlasting punishment.


The Unseen Battle Behind Our Struggles

What many people don’t realize is that this world is not ruled only by what we can see with our physical eyes. Powerful spiritual forces operate behind the scenes, influencing events, people in high places, and even the thoughts that enter our minds.

These dark spirits thrive on pushing people toward destruction, including suicide. They want to steal, kill, and destroy lives. And once a person falls into their trap through suicide, they become slaves to darkness forever.


The Only Real Solution: Jesus Christ

There is only one Person powerful enough to defeat every spiritual force of darkness — Jesus Christ.

He is not just a religious figure. He is God Almighty in human form. Through Him, all things were created. He is the most powerful Spirit Being in existence, and no force of darkness can stand against Him.

When you surrender your life to Jesus and become born again, He steps into your battles — both in the physical world and in the unseen spiritual realm. He fights for you. His presence breaks the power of demonic influence that tries to push you toward suicide or any form of self-destruction.

With Jesus, you don’t have to fight alone. You don’t have to be controlled by fear, depression, or suicidal thoughts. His power sets you free.


Why You Should Choose Jesus Today

Life can be incredibly tough. But the troubles of this world are temporary. What comes after this life is eternal. Instead of ending up as a slave to the spirits of darkness, tormented forever, you can choose to become a servant of the King of kings. When you follow Jesus faithfully to the end, you are guaranteed:

  • Eternal life in Heaven
  • Perfect peace and joy
  • Complete safety in God’s presence


It really is as simple as ABC:

  1. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and need forgiveness.
  2. Believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose again.
  3. Confess Him as your Lord and Savior, and invite Him into your heart.
  4. Obedience to His Word is all that is required. He stands at the door of your heart right now, knocking.

As Revelation 3:20-22 (KJV) says:

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”
