Seducing Spirit: The Crucifixion Movie Of Jesus Was Designed To Lure Believers Into Idolatory

If my own biological father died just like Jesus did on the cross, do you think I will be happy seeing the impersonation of my father and the movie of his shameful death being shown on the television, or being worn on neck or the status being displayed in the churches, homes etc. Their is no way that would make me happy rather, each time I see it, I will bow my head in shame. I will see it as an insult and mockery on my path. That is exactly how God feels about it and how we should feel about it as well. 

Many of us believers love Jesus so much. Whether in the mouth or by action, their is no doubt. Some of us prefer to prove Gods love by acting on His Word and some prefer to prove it by just mouthing it. But according to God's word, His preference is for us to prove it by acting according to His Word which is obedience and righteousness. 

Satan knows that what Jesus accomplished on the cross was the greatest victory of all time over him (devil). And through such victory, as believers in Christ Jesus, we overcome the devil. We are more than conquerors according to the Bible. 

But Satan being who he is; subtle and deceptive. Which is his greatest strength has come with a means through which to turn the victory of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross into idolatry and mockery. 

Jude 1:17-19 KJV

"But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; [18] How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. [19] These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit."

I have never read in the Bible that the disciples acted any movie about Jesus crucifixion. What they did was just to preach it to the whole world, even to people at their time. The disciples never celebrated Easter, Christmas or any other "holy day". They were mindful, serious and bent on achieving the basic purpose of God's commandment; which is preaching the gospel to every creature. "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15 KJV. 

But today, ever since the movie of Christ Crucifixion, many believers have been using most of this images about Jesus they saw in movies for praying, identification, protection, worship, admiration etc. They have turned it to something else. If you go to many churches today, you will see it hanging on the walls of some churches and in their alters. This has become idolatry, which is an Abomination to the Lord. 

"Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry. I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say." 1 Corinthians 10:14-15 KJV. 

Don't you know that spreading and showing off the images of Christ crucifixion is a sign of mockery to God, reverence, worship and honour to such images. The point is this, the man that was used to represent Jesus on the cross was and is never the true Jesus Christ. So having him being displayed in churches and homes by believers makes we believers idolaters. It makes our allegiance to God divided and we become before God a double minded believers. By so doing we become Gods enemy and as well make God to be  jealous. "Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?" 1 Corinthians 10:22 KJV. 

"God is jealous, and the Lord revengeth; the Lord revengeth, and is furious; the Lord will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies." Nahum 1:2 KJV. 

We have chosen to serve two masters which God rejected vehemently: "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon" Matthew 6:24 KJV. 

God warned us in His Word several times without number. This is the same reason He did away with the children of Israel and cast them out of His sight and rejected their sacrifices. 

"Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the Lord your God." Leviticus 26:1 KJV. 

The children of Israel rejected Moses when he was away and they chose for themselves what they can see, which is the idol made with their eerings, bracelets, bangles etc and they turned it into a calf Idol-god. What did they get in return? it was great judgment upon them. Many of them perished, about three thousand of them were killed. 

Exodus 32:1-6, 26-28 KJV

"And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him. [2] And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me. [3] And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron. [4] And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. [5] And when Aaron saw it , he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the Lord . [6] And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play. [26] Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the Lord's side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him. [27] And he said unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour. [28] And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men."

Today, many of us believers, because we don't see Jesus physically we have resorted to images of likeness of Jesus (which is false), God, angels and things in heaven. Instead of walking by faith to please God, we have chosen to walk by sight to please the devil. The "pictures and images" of Jesus we are seeing today on movies is a replica of what saw and spoke against in the book of;

Exodus 20:2-5 KJV

"I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. [3] Thou shalt have no other gods before me. [4] Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: [5] Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;"

The duty we owe God is to talk about Jesus, His accomplished work on the cross of calvary, and His death and resurrection. No amount of images and movies that we show to the world will make the world to change rather Satan will continue to use such images to deceive the gullible Christians that those images impersonating Jesus is the true Jesus. 

The disciples preached by faith and through such means, many were saved and God worked out His miracles by His great power. But today, what do we get in orthodox churches and others? Nothing but hypocrites and unbelieving-believers. That's why Christianity is going down and many are being put under Satan's bondage. 

Hebrews 11:1-3, 6 KJV

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. [2] For by it the elders obtained a good report. [3] Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. [6] But without faith it is impossible to please him : for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

Brethren, watch it, for you are gradually falling and away from the faith which was once preached to us of old. Look and search yourself and repent lest you perish!! We ought to believe and follow Jesus by faith. We don't need any symbol, images or status of any likeness of person in heaven. God is a jealous God! Having such images in homes or churches is rejecting God. 

Exodus 20:4 KJV

"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any LIKENESS OF ANY THING THAT IS IN HEAVEN ABOVE , OR THAT IS IN THE EARTH BENEATH , OR THAT IS IN THE WATER UNDER THE EARTH.."
